Congratulations on your decision to support your son’s adventure. The Boy Scouts of America provides a youth leadership program that builds character, trains boys in the responsibilities of participating in citizenship and community awareness, and develops personal fitness. Scouts whose parents invest time and support troop programs usually benefit the most!

Troop 9 provides tents and patrol gear! All your scout needs is his personal gear. The Troop also offers all the required Eagle Merit Badges classes and including support to reach the Rank of Eagle Scout.

Penfield Bottle and Can returns

Posted by epeterson on Feb 25 2020 - 8:14pm

We’ve set up an easy way to help support the troop with Penfield Bottle and Can Return.
•    next to Steve's Diner in Penfield; between the American Legion and Delta Sonic/Bill Grays. 1694 Penfield RD.
•    just drop off your cans or bottles and tell them they go to "Penfield Boy Scout Troop #9" ... no need to wait for them to count.
•    money will be used to replace aging equipment, repairs to the troop trailer, offset rising Scout dues, or possibly a storage shed at the American Legion.
